Default The Stealth it is!

No matter how it goes next week it looks like we start the playoffs with a very hot Stealth team. Same as last year only with a home court advantage. I'm really hoping we pull this one out and whoever meets the Roughnecks can get a win...I want to see all of the playoff games at home I can!

I'm really not asking for too much am I?

Personally I'm hoping the 2nd or 3rd since they happen to pick the dates around our prom. haha.

But I'm stoked that we get home field advantage either way.

Hopefully it's an advantage. I realized last night, that last year not one home playoff game was won in the west.

In the past *two* season, in the first round, in the West, NO home team has won. It's thee wild West come playoffs time.

We've all still got one more regular season game and the two week layoff, but I'm already getting excited about the playoff game. The rematch aspect from last year, it's going to be great!

See you Friday for the Roughnecks.

The Stealth are more than a hot team, they look like they have all the pieces to win a championship...great veteran leader, a pack of young scorers, all the defensive talent they need, now even very good goaltending.

I could see this game being similar to last year's playoff game between the two teams, but there is no playoff monster like DDD on Portland to get 7g and 5a when you just gotta have someone assaulting the net and get scoring...and SJ is loaded with guys for a game like that, plus this is the revenge game for them from last year. Portland will need to come to war for sure.

I think Calgary will definitely break through at home in the first round against anyone they will see...CO, MN, Ed are all playoff fodder in the Saddledome, none are particularly dangerous, don't see an analogy to the past two years when the 4th place teams were more dangerous.
