Default This season

Although it was a disappointing loss tonight, this season was still a success IMO. honestly, who thought after starting 0-4, and really unable to do anything on the offensive side, this team would be in the playoffs?

But they clawed and scrapped their way back in it to secure the final spot without their 2 best scorers from last year, missing their starting goaltender for 3 games (and not being 100% for most of the season), and a ton of roster changes.

Thank you Knighthawks for another fun, challenging, entertaining season. You didn't let this fan down!!

Agreed wholeheartedly - thanks for a great season.
So sad about the loss...feel bad for the boys...but we have to look at all of the positives the team brought this year. O'Toole was stellar...Williams beat his season record with 93 points...Evans had big games...Point turned it on...Schiller, Chapman, Henhawk & Allen were fantastic. The team battled against the odds and made the playoffs - better than last year. Proved that they could play without Grant. Lost in OT against the top team in the East to end the season.
All of these positives when it seemed as though everyone was against them...a season full of negativity (press...insider guys etc.).
Can't wait to see game #1 next season.
Good luck to all of the players in their respective summer leagues.

This had the begining of a terrible season that wouldnt be fun at all. Yet this year i was more proud of the guys than the year they one the championship. They showed heart, desire, determination, and the willingness never to give up. They bonded well as the season went along and leaders were made such as Evans and Chapman. I couldnt be more proud of this team hopefully we keep players such as allen, mcbride, henhawk, and point around and hopefully evans and grant rehab well so we can have a championship team next year.

Thank you Styres for everything.

Thanks to players who gave their all. Thanks to Curt Styres for helping us believe. Thanks to all the office staff who kept us informed (those e-mail bulletins are great). Thanks to all our fans for keeping faith. Thanks to the away fans and their teams for some great sport.

My 2010 tickets are already paid in full. Don't wanna wish the summer away but, is it January yet?

This team will be much better for the future after the year we had. We definitely added more depth, youth and experience. Some guys played major roles this year that they wouldn't have without the Grant and Evans injuries. We learned alot about this team and hopefully with both of our stars back next year, we will have a much more confident supporting cast.

I also wanted to thank Curt Styres and the entire K-Hawk organization. How many other teams would have done the same for their fans? Curt also sat the entire game amongst the Rochester fans at MSG instead of in a luxury box. Great show of appreciation...

Many Thanks to Curt Styres and the entire organization.
Thanks you all the players who performed under such turmoil this year. Thanks for bringing us back to the playoffs. Next year we'll just have to win it all!
