Sorry, WRONG... Did you forget that the National Tiddly Winks Contest, originally scheduled for April 25th, had to be cancelled? It's somewhere around page 20ish of the thread....

Anyway, it turns out that Ed Snyder owns the local team, so guess who gets first pick of dates?

Yup...


Now we have to wait on the tiddly-winkers to choose their date before we can play this damn game. Word has it that they may be in their hibernation cycle right now, so it could be a while.

According to the NLL V.P. of Communications, The Game is officially off. Surprisingly, it was not called due to the fact that the game was completely meaningless from the start, nor that the season had long been completed without it. It had nothing to do, in fact, with the fact that half the Titans' players weren't paid for many of the games they did play. It wasn't even due to the fact that those players - and their team loyalty - were dispersed throughout the league.

No, Roy, as it turns out (and as we love to chant here in Philadelphia)... "It's all your fault." The release stated that "Roy would have enough difficulty finding the tunnel and we remain concerned that, if he were to even find the venue, his split loyalty may in fact kill him." Fritz goes on to mention that the league had called in medical and psyhological experts and they concur that "playing the game at this point could do Roy irrepairable harm."

So that is it. We are there now. This thing has ended. Go home, folks, nothing to see here.
